Isagenix Announces It Will Open "In the Land Down Under"

Australia and New Zealand are next on Isagenix’s global expansion plan.

LAS VEGAS – Aug. 7, 2007 – Isagenix’s nutritional cleansing revolution’s next stop is Australia and New Zealand. These countries will be open for business by Sept. 10, Isagenix announced today at its 2007 "Changing Lives" Celebration.

"The time is right to share Isagenix’s phenomenal products with the people of these two great countries," said Isagenix President and CEO Jim Coover. "Isagenix will continue impacting lives worldwide."

"It gives me great pleasure to announce the opening of Australia and New Zealand," said Warren Te Brugge, president of international operations. “The Australian and New Zealand markets are mature and network-savvy countries. They give us the opportunity to build a successful business in not only these markets, but also in future markets as we expand across the Asia Pacific region.”

He added, “Our initial step into Asia Pacific was Hong Kong, and these two additional countries reinforce our decision to create a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region.”

Te Brugge also presented David Nomchong as general manager of Australia and New Zealand operations. "Nomchong is the right Aussie for the job," he said. "He brings talent, the right attitude of service, and experience."

Last March Isagenix successfully expanded into Hong Kong, the company’s first international expansion outside North America.
